Calena Cadence Heart-Rate Strap
Calena Cadence is a rechargeable chest-strap heart-rate sensor that broadcasts over both Bluetooth and ANT+, so it works with the fitness apps and equipment already in use — Strava, Peloton, Zwift, Wahoo, Polar Beat, Apple Health and more.
A slim sensor pod clips into a soft, adjustable band for a snug, low-profile fit across running, cycling, and studio workouts. Heart rate streams straight into the training app, session after session.

Why Calena
Why Cadence
Effort in view
A chest-worn sensor streams heart rate straight into the training app, so pacing runs by zones instead of guesswork.
It speaks to the apps
Dual Bluetooth 5.0 and ANT+ connect it to Strava, Peloton, Zwift, Wahoo, Apple Health and more, with two Bluetooth links at once so a phone and a bike computer can both read it together.
Charge it, skip the coin cell
A built-in rechargeable battery runs up to 50 hours and tops up in about 1.5 hours, so there is no watch battery to pry out mid-training block.
Made for
Built to read where the signal is steadiest
Chest-worn placement sits where the heart-rate signal is steadiest, then sends it to the training apps opened every session — no wrist guessing when hands lock onto the bars or the pace picks up.
- Feeds live effort to Strava, Peloton, and Zwift leaderboards over Bluetooth or ANT+
- Holds a steady read through cycling, running, and studio workouts where wrist sensors drop out at the handlebars
- Streams heart-rate zones for training apps, bike computers, and smart gym machines at once
The ritual
How to wear it
-
01
Damp, then on
Wet the contact strip or wear it a touch damp, settle the band just below the chest, and snug it so it stays put without pinching.
-
02
Pair once, ride
Open the training app, connect over Bluetooth or ANT+, and let effort flow in from the first minute.
-
03
Rinse and recharge
Rinse the strap after a sweaty session and top up the battery when it runs low, ready for the next one.
Questions
Common questions
Which apps and devices does it work with?
It broadcasts over both Bluetooth 5.0 and ANT+, so it pairs with training apps and equipment like Strava, Peloton, Zwift, Wahoo, Polar Beat and Apple Health, plus bike computers and smart gym machines. Two Bluetooth connections at once means a phone and a bike computer can both read it.
How can dropouts at the start of a workout be avoided?
Most early dropouts come from dry contact. Wearing the strap a little damp or wetting the contact strip before starting, plus keeping the band snug against the skin, fixes most of them. Good contact from the first minute is the single biggest fix.
Does it need replacement batteries?
No. The battery is built in and rechargeable over the included cable, lasting up to 50 hours per charge and refilling in about 1.5 hours. There is no coin cell to replace.
