The Baseline is a smart bathroom scale with a tempered-glass platform and four sensor points that read a full picture of body composition, then sync it to a companion app on the phone. It is built for following a trend over time rather than one morning's number.

How are the body-composition readings best used?
The Baseline uses four bioimpedance sensor points to estimate metrics like body-fat and muscle. These are directional, not clinical, and shift with hydration and time of day, which is why the app shows them as a trend to follow over weeks rather than a single exact figure. It is a general-use scale, not a medical device.
Does it work with an app, and does the phone need to be nearby?
Yes. It connects over Bluetooth to a companion app that logs each reading automatically. The phone doesn't need to sit on the scale every time; readings sync the next time the app and scale are near each other.
Can more than one person use it?
Yes. The app supports multiple profiles, so a shared household can each track a separate trend without mixing readings together.
How much is shipping, and where does Calena ship?
Shipping is free on every order within the United States. Calena ships within the US only for now.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are handled in 1–2 business days. Delivery averages 7–11 business days, and can take as long as 30–60 days depending on the item, the destination, and demand.
How are orders tracked, and which carriers are used?
A tracking number is emailed as soon as an order ships. Deliveries go out through USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
What is the return window?
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, on items that are unused and in their original condition and packaging.
Who pays for return shipping?
Returns for defective or damaged items are free. For any other reason, a $10 shipping and restocking fee applies and is deducted from the refund.
When is a refund issued?
Once a returned item is received and inspected, the refund is sent back to the original payment method.
