Are the nubs hard?
No. They're soft silicone in mixed sizes, and each one gives a little when you press it.
Can I use it with shoes on?
You can, but you'll barely feel the nubs. It's made for bare feet or socks.
Will it slide on a hard floor?
The underside is flat foam with no grip pads, so it can shift on smooth floors when you push it forward.
